Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Right On Call ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through rightoncall.com and the Service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. We aim to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit a form on this Site (for example, requesting a free missed-call audit, joining a waitlist, or requesting a live demo call), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, business name, phone number, email address, and industry.

Call content. If you request or take part in a live demo call, or once you become a customer, calls handled by our AI voice receptionist may be recorded and transcribed, as described in our Terms of Service. This can include your voice, phone number (via caller ID), and the content of the conversation.

Information collected automatically. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type. This data is aggregated and is not used to individually identify you or to track you across other websites.

Cookies and advertising measurement. If you accept cookies through the banner on this Site, we also use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics (GA4), the Meta Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. These tools use cookies and similar identifiers to measure how visitors reach and use the Site, and to measure and improve our advertising on Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn, including building audiences of past visitors for retargeting. None of these tools load unless you accept. See Section 8 for how to change your choice at any time.

2. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule your missed-call audit or live demo;
  • Set up, operate, and tune the AI voice receptionist for your business, and provide support once you are a customer;
  • Monitor and improve call quality, including reviewing recordings and transcripts for troubleshooting and quality assurance;
  • Communicate with you about Right On Call's services, including by phone, SMS, or email;
  • Understand aggregate usage of the Site so we can improve it; and
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use identifiable call recordings or transcripts from your customers to train models we share with other businesses. See Section 5 of our Terms for the license you grant us over this information.

3. How we share information

We share information with a limited number of third-party service providers who process it on our behalf, under obligations to protect it and use it only to provide their service to us:

  • Formspree: processes form submissions on our behalf.
  • Vercel: hosts the Site and provides cookieless web analytics.
  • Google, Meta, and LinkedIn: if you accept cookies, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics (GA4), the Meta Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which receive information about your visit directly from your browser for analytics and ad measurement. Each operates under its own privacy policy in addition to this one.
  • Telephony, transcription, and AI infrastructure providers used to operate the voice receptionist for customers under an active Engagement.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Right On Call or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy for previously collected information).

4. International data storage

Some of our service providers, including Formspree and Vercel, may store or process information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. That information may become subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including lawful access by their governments and authorities. We select providers that maintain appropriate contractual and technical safeguards for information transferred this way.

5. Data retention

We retain form submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, and, if you become a customer, for the duration of your Engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and business purposes. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for as long as needed for quality assurance, support, and any legal obligations, after which they are deleted or de-identified. You can ask us to delete information sooner as described in Section 7 below.

6. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, including transport encryption (HTTPS) for the Site and access controls limiting who can view stored information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information in a way that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as required by law.

7. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to: tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete information you've submitted, or withdraw consent to further collection, use, or disclosure (which may limit our ability to provide the Service to you). To make a request, email hello@rightoncall.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Cookies and tracking

Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless by design and always runs. Beyond that, this Site does not set any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or the LinkedIn Insight Tag, unless and until you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

If you click "Reject," none of those tools load and no advertising or analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page, which reopens the banner. Clearing your browser's local storage for this Site, or visiting in a new private/ incognito window, will also show the banner again.

9. Children's privacy

The Site and Service are directed at businesses and are not intended for, or knowingly directed at, children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

11. Contact us
