CRM & billing

On request

QuickBooks is on request, and often unnecessary.

If you run Jobber, Jobber probably already syncs to QuickBooks Online for you. A second connection from the receptionist would be a second path to the same books. We list it because some shops want one, and we would quote it as setup work.

On request. Not live. No QuickBooks connection exists to switch on. We quote it when a shop has a reason Jobber or Zoho can’t cover.

How the connection actually works

What we would aim for

After a booked call, a customer in QuickBooks Online and an invoice or estimate for the visit. Whether it should be a draft, an estimate, or an unsent invoice is a scoping decision, because QuickBooks handles them differently from Zoho.

Why it is often unnecessary

A Jobber shop that syncs Jobber to QuickBooks Online gets the customer and invoice there when the job is invoiced. The receptionist writing a separate invoice risks a duplicate.

What would need scoping

Which company file, how a customer is matched, and who owns the connection. QuickBooks access is granted by the shop’s own sign-in.

Daytime and after hours

During the day

Nothing is written for a call you answer. For a call the receptionist takes and books, a build would write after it ends.

After hours

The same, at any hour.

What scoping would look like

What scoping would cover. There is nothing to connect today.

  1. Tell us why

What the receptionist would write that Jobber’s own sync doesn’t.

  2. Choose the record

    Invoice, estimate, or customer only.

  3. Quote and test

Adapter work is quoted at setup and tested before live calls.

Limits and edge cases

  • No timeline is promised.
  • A duplicate with Jobber’s own sync is the main risk and the main reason to skip this.

This is for

  • A shop that invoices straight from QuickBooks Online and uses no field-service tool.

This isn't

  • Jobber shops that already sync to QuickBooks. Don’t pay for a second path.

What we won't claim

  • Exist as a self-serve connection.
  • Take payment or reconcile a bank feed.
  • Quote repair prices.

QuickBooks questions

Is QuickBooks supported?

Not yet. It is on request, quoted at setup.

Can I get invoices today?

Yes, as drafts in Zoho Invoice, if you use it.

What if I use Jobber and QuickBooks?

Connect Jobber. Its own QuickBooks sync carries the customer and invoice there.
