The 9 PM call that rings out
The same call, followed through both products. Nobody at the shop could get to it.
Davinci Virtual
- 1At 9 PM, outside the staffed hours reviews describe, the call goes to voicemail or an automated line
- 2The caller leaves a message, or calls the next listing
- 3Next business day, someone returns the call
- 4If the caller already booked elsewhere, the job is gone
Right On Call

Check the hours before the price
For a home-service shop, the calls that ring out are mostly not 10 AM calls. Someone is usually around at 10 AM. They are the calls at 7 PM, at 11 PM, on a Sunday, and in the first cold night of the year.
Independent reviews describe Davinci’s live receptionists as working weekdays, roughly 8 AM to 8 PM Eastern, with calls outside those hours going to voicemail or an automated system. Ask Davinci for its current hours and what a caller hears outside them before comparing prices. A cheaper minute that is not staffed at 9 PM doesn’t catch the 9 PM call.
Right On Call answers every hour of every day at the same rate, because the agent doesn’t clock out. During the day you keep answering first; it picks up what rings out.

Where both sit in the market
You build it → built for you
Choose Davinci Virtual if
- Your calls come in during office hours and a person must answer.
- You also want a virtual office address.
Choose Right On Call if
- The calls you lose come in after hours and on weekends.
- You want the call to end booked, not as a voicemail.
Built for the calls you miss, not to replace the people who answer
Right On Call can answer every call if you want it to. That isn’t what it is built for. It is built so that a call you would have missed, on a roof, in a crawlspace, at lunch, after 5, on a Saturday, gets picked up and ends as a booked job instead of a voicemail nobody returns.
